Duane ‘D.L.’ Taylor

Funeral for Duane “D.L.” Taylor, 81, of Falkville will be Wed., Dec. 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church with his brother David Taylor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor died Mon., Dec. 3, 2012, at his residence.  He was born May 28, 1931, in Morgan County to James Draper Taylor and Elmie Odella Holladay Taylor.  He was formerly employed with Hayes Aircraft as an electrician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Green Taylor.

He is survived by three sons, David D. Taylor of Falkville, Paul D. Taylor of Athens and Joseph G. Taylor of Hartselle; three daughters, Dana Cottingham, of Hartselle, Kathy Taylor of Eva, and Jennifer Asherbranner of Massey; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Taylor, Jerome Taylor, Ronnie Taylor, Stan Nelson, Cobb Hale and Derrick White.
