Rucker to speak at Women’s Connection

Women’s Connection will meet at the Decatur Country Club on Fri., Dec. 7, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a meal and get-together.

The entertainment feature will be the Decatur High School Chorus, directed by Dr. Carl Davis.

This is a “small but mighty” choir that performs at multiple school and community events. Their repertoire consist of a variety of music, including some appropriate for the Christmas season.

The inspirational speaker will be Barbara Rucker who will tell us how to be “Happy Ever After.” Rucker is a motivational speaker and actress from Nashville, Tenn.

She is multi-talented, having starred on soap operas, been a spokesperson for hundreds of TV commercials, and was one of the original Stepford Wives. Barbara says that God had a unique plan for her life when He turned an ugly duckling into a graceful swan! She enjoys ballroom dancing, Zumba, aerobics, gardening and gourmet cooking.
