County moves forward on jail annex

The commission acted on other matters as follows:

•Approved payment of $150 to the Alabama Mountain Lakes Association for membership dues for Morgan County, effective Nov. 2012 through Oct. 2013, payable out of the contingency fund.

•Approved payment of $100 to the Alabama Mutual Assistance Association for annual membership dues for EMA, effective Jan. 1, 2013 until Dec. 31, 2013.

•Approved payments of $100 each to Peck Glasgow Agency for public surety bonds for Don Stisher, District 3 commissioner, and Greg Abercrombie, District 4 Commissioner, effective Nov. 12, 2012 through Nov. 12, 2016.

•Approved payment of $397 to Peck Glasgow Agency for public surety bond for Belinda Ealey, chief administrative officer of the Morgan County Commission, effective Nov. 18, 2012 through Nov. 18, 2013.

•Authorized the chairman to execute the FY2012 SenioRx contract for services provided to the Morgan County Commission on Aging by N.A.R.C.O.G, effective Oct. 1, 2012 through Sept 30, 2013, subject to a 30-day cancellation notice.

•Authorized the chairman to execute any and all documents and assuming care and control of property located at the former Ryan School, given to the Morgan County Commission by the Morgan County Board of Education.
