Minnie Carpenter Haddock

Funeral for Minnie Carpenter Haddock, 95, of Hartselle will be Thur., Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Redfearn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sheffield with her grandson, Jeff Crosswhite, officiating. Visitation will be Thur., Nov. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Haddock died on Mon., Nov. 26, 2012, at River City Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born Jan. 24, 1917, in Lawrence County to Charley Owen Carpenter and Jetter (Nix) Carpenter. Ms. Haddock was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church and the Emma Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A special thanks to the Nursing Staff and employees of River City Care and Rehabilitation Center for all the extended care they gave.

She is survived by two sons, Willard O. Landers of Huntsville and Roy E. Landers and wife Pat of Decatur; a daughter, Willodean Crosswhite of Savannah, Tenn.; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to your favorite charity or to the North Alabama- Hospice of the Valley.
