AARP sponsors driver safety class

The “Happy Highlanders” at East Highland Baptist Church is sponsoring an American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) “driver safety” class for age 55 and older drivers Tues., July 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The class will be conducted at East Highland Baptist Church.
Those who complete the course qualify for a discount on their auto insurance.
The fee for the class is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. A discount rate of $5 per person will apply to anyone working in education, active or retired.
