Two players from Hartselle and two players from Priceville were named to the ASWA All-State in baseball.

Colton Ord made the Class 5A team as a utility player while Brett Blackwood was an honorable mention shorstop.

Drew Cowan of Priceville, a former HHS player, was named an all-state outfielder in Class 4A. Ryan Madewell of Priceville was an honorable mention designated hitter.

Former HHS assistant coach Chris Heaps was named Class 6A coach of the year at Central-Phenix City. He was recently hired as the head coach at Russellville High School.
