Vera Roberts Pietszak

Funeral service for Vera Roberts Pietszak, 83, of Falkville will be Fri., May 18, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Avery Long officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Pietszak died on Sat., May 12, 2012 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born May 19, 1929, in Morgan County to John Earl Roberts and Edna (McClusky) Crow. She was a very loving person that loved her family dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Grover Crow; six sisters, Mary Cole Gaye, Shirley Crow, Bertha Crow, Dorthy Standridge, Irene Roberts and Venice Dale Crow; four brothers, Gilbert Crow, David Crow, Clevern Crow and Defoe Crow.

She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Stazer and husband Kennith of Morristown, Tenn.; a brother, John Clovis Roberts of Rogersville; two sisters, Mavene White and husband J.W. of Danville and Linda Roberts Poole and hustband John of Trinity; three granddaughters, Charlsie Renie Roberts, Linda Beth Milton and Melissa Hope Pallin; a grandson, James Maurice White; 6 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James White, Mark Standridge, Harry Woodard, Clinton White, Bobbie White and Blake Hockett.
