Loyd S. Copeland

Funeral for Loyd S. Copeland, 88, of Hartselle will be Sat., Jan. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with David Guttery officiating.

Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 14, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.

Mr. Copeland died Wed., Jan. 11, 2012, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born May 22, 1923, in Morgan Country to James Pleas Copeland and Ella Wilkinson Copeland, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Copeland of Hartselle; a son, Paul Copeland and wife Cali of Cupertino, Calif; a daughter, Glenda Copeland of Smyrna, Tenn.; and two surviving grandchildren, Laura Dowling of Dallas, Tex, and Sarah Baxter of Cupertino, Calif.
