Maxine Bennett Oden

Funeral for Maxine Bennett Oden, 73, of Eva will be Tues., Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Tues., Nov. 8, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home

Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Oden died Fri., Nov. 4, 2011, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1938, in Morgan County to Ira Jefferson Bennett and Isabel Pirkle Bennett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Stanley Oden, her parents, and a son, Michael Oden.

She is survived by three sons, Matthew Oden of Hartselle and Bufford Oden and Jeff Oden, both of Eva; a brother, Tom Bennett of Gadsden; and 12 grandchildren.

Family members and friends will be pallbearers.
