Somerville Baptist Church honors fireman, policeman

Somerville Assembly will host a gospel singing on Sat., Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. Featured singers will be Free Indeed. Pastor Jacob Daugette and members invite the public to attend. A meal will be served afterwards.

Love and deepest sympathy goes out to the family and many friends of Doris Powers who passed away on Saturday morning. She will be greatly missed by members of Pines Baptist Church as well as everyone who knew her.

Somerville Baptist Church hosted a special memorial service for firefighters and police officers on Sunday morning in observance of the 10th anniversary of 9-11.

Happy birthday wishes go out to my grandchildren, Jayla and Louis Daugette on Sept. 19.

Elder Equator Black was guest speaker at Somerville Assembly on Sunday night.

Pastor Jacob Daugette and Ashley hosted a spend-the-night- party for the youth at Somerville Assembly on Saturday. They enjoyed watching movies, eating popcorn and having fellowship.
