Nix, Bridwell marry

Hollie Lashay Nix of Falkville and Shane Devlin Bridwell of Pell City were married June 18 at 5 p.m. at Quail Creek Golf Resort in Hartselle. Bro. Brian Bridges officiated.

The Bridwells

The bride is the daughter of Jason and Nancy Nix of Falkville and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard O. Long of Danville and Mr. and Mrs. Arvil L. Nix of Hartselle.

The groom is the son of William Bridwell of Birmingham and Cathy Stryker of Chelsea. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Satterwhite and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gorman T. Bridwell, all of Birmingham.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Emily Nix of Hartselle served as maid of honor. Phillip Hedstrom of Pell City served as best man. Angela Hampton and Terrie Riggs served as wedding directors.

The reception was held at the Grand Pavilion at Quail Creek immediately following the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in Disney World and will reside in Anniston.
