Dealing with grief after the storm

Hospice of the Valley’s Community Bereavement Center is hosting support groups in response to the storm victims of  the tornadoes of April 27.
The groups are for adults and children who are grieving the loss of a loved one as well as for those having difficulty who volunteered their time in helping those families with deaths. The groups will be led by trained professionals including an Adult Bereavement Coordinator and Child Life Specialist/Children’s Bereavement Coordinator to aid young ones with their grief (school-aged children 5-18).
Morgan County support groups will meet from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. May 24 and June 7 at Hospice of the Valley in Decatur, 240 Johnston St., SE..
Interested participants are asked to register by calling Hospice of the Valley at (256) 350-5585 and speaking with either Brad Eades or Kim O’Leary.
