A graveside service for Grace C. Atkins, 95, of Falkville will be Friday, February 18, at 2 p.m. at Moss Chapel with the Rev. Tom Elder officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Friday, February 18, from 12 noon to 1:40 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Atkins died Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born April 3, 1915, in Morgan County to Melvin Cochran and Emma Scott Cochran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady S. Atkins; a son, Jack Atkins; and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Atkins of Somerville; a brother, Lacey Cochran of Double Springs; two grandchildren, Missie Lambert and Steve Atkins; and a great-grandchild, Joseph Lambert.
Pallbearers will be Joe Weaver, James Weaver, Matt Prater, Scott Prater, Joe Sparkman and Joe Lambert.
Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Wilson.
