Claude Bivens Scott

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Claude Bivens Scott, 97, of Cedar Grove, Fla. Peck Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mr. Scott, a former long-time resident of the Massey Community, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, in Panama City, Fla. He had resided in Cedar Grove for the past 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Sandlin Scott and is survived by his present wife, Lois Davis Scott of Cedar Grove. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Panama City where he was active for many years.
He is also survived by a son, Jim R. Scott of Gardendale; a daughter, Nancy Judith Beaver of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Michael Fredrick Scott of Gardendale, Shannon Michelle Scott of Madison and Gregory Keith Beaver of Wetumpka; and three great-grandchildren, Isabella Rosemary Scott of Gardendale and Jacob and Zachary Beaver, both of Huntsville.
