Lady Hawks win 4th straight with victory over West Morgan

Danville girls 43, West Morgan girls 22
The Lady Hawks continued to get solid effort from their seniors in a road win Saturday. Senior Bethany Evans led Danville (7-3) with 13 points and added three steals. Her classmate Lauren Simmons had nine points and nine rebounds and fellow senior Magen Linderman also added nine points.
It was Danville’s fourth straight victory.
West Morgan boys 70, Danville boys 49
The Hawks had three players in double figures Saturday but it wasn’t enough as Danville (1-7) fell on the road to West Morgan.
Zach Orr had 22 points for Danville, which also got 14 points from Russell Standridge and 11 from Roger Smith.
Phillip Powell had 14 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Rebels.
