Geraldine E. Holmes

Funeral for Geraldine E. Holmes, 75, of Eva will be Thursday (today), Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Driver officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Methodist Cemetery in Gum Pond. Mrs. Holmes died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at her residence. She worked in the cafeteria at Eva School until retirement. She was a member of Gandy's Cove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayland Holmes.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Hall and husband Stanley of Eva; three grandchildren, Heather Stiles and husband Brian, Stephanie Hall and Brett Hall, all of Eva; a sister, Christine Hall and husband Hubert of Hartselle; and a niece, Becky Hall of Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be Brett Hall, Brian Stiles, Jacky Sandlin, Joel Holmes, Nathan Holmes and Wilford Holmes
A special thank you to Jane Moses and Patsy Self of Hospice of North Alabama, Sarah Love and Lynn Hampton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Alabama.
