Clara Love Owens

Funeral for Clara Love Owens, 91, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Aug. 24, at 1 p.m. at Eva Baptist Church with the Revs. Raymond Stinson, Gary Driver and Phillip Robinson officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Owens died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Sept. 3, 1913, in Winston County to Cole Robinson and Myrtle Mae Reynolds Robinson. She was a member of East Flint Baptist Church in Vinemont. She made a profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 17. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Jefferson Owens; a son, Rudolph (Rudy) Owens; a brother, Hollis Robinson; and a sister, Annie Lou Robinson.
Mrs. Owens is survived by a son, Tuell Lee Owens of Lebanon, Mo.; a daughter, Sarah Jenell Bates of Hartselle; a brother, Price E. Robinson of Vinemont; a sister, Elaine Dutton of Cullman; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ray Owens, John Bates, Amos Owens, Tommy Owens, Jimmy Owens and Jake Patterson.
