Ronald D. Holt Sr.

Funeral for Ronald D. Holt Sr., 59, of Hartselle was Friday, July 8, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Agee officiating.
Mr. Holt died Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at UAB Hospital. He was born Oct. 3, 1945, in Winona, Mo., to John Logan Holt and Ocie Melvina Bowen Holt.
He was an airman in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Holt retired from Decatur Utilities after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Holt.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Holt of Hartselle; one son, Ronald Holt Jr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Tina Diana Holt of Hartselle; one stepson, Bradley Lance Reid of Moulton; two brothers, Ray Holt of Springhill, Kan., and Doyle Holt of Winona, Mo.; two sisters, Reva McAfee of Birchtree, Mo. and Carolyn Phillips of Eminence, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Joe Lee Griffin Hope Lodge, 1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, AL 35205-7001.
