Memorial service for Thelma Keplinger, 79, of Decatur will be Thursday (today), Dec. 9, at the residence of her daughter, Shirley Marvin, 908 Ashworth St., NE, Hartselle.
Mrs. Keplinger died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 10, 1925, in Indiana, to Fredrick Leroy Bowers and Florence Mikel Bowers. She was a member of the Baha'I Faith. She was the treasurer of the Antique Auto Club of Decatur, and she enjoyed bingo, antique cars, travel and reading.
She is survived by her son, Lloyd Culp of Decatur; daughter, Shirley Marvin of Hartselle; brothers, Earl Bowers of Decatur, and Carol Bowers of Colorado; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
