Hartselle A funeral service for Minnie Jane Elliott, 83, will be Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Phelps officiating. Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Mrs. Elliott passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Decatur Health & Rehab Center. She was born July 31, 1941, in Hartford, Alabama to B.J. Meredith, Sr. and Flora Elizabeth Gilley Meredith. She was a homemaker for her family, a good cook and a wonderful pastor’s wife. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Pattillo Street Church of God and was an amazing singer and pianist. She was an incredible artist (pencil art), loved crafts, and enjoyed cross-stitching and crotchet. Preceding her in death were her parents; a great grandson, Gabriel McNutt; and a son-inlaw, Edward Williams. Survivors include her husband, Rev. John Elliott; sons, Mark Elliott (Melissa) and John Elliott, II (Cory); daughter, DiAndrea Williams; brother, B.J. Meredith (Virginia); sister, Jackie Yell, eight grandchildren, Candice Elliott, Leslie McNutt, Amanda Elliott, Lauren Bloodworth, Andria Pitman, Tyler Elliott, Brooke Elliott and Maggie Elliott; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Pitman, Adam McNutt, Jake Cofer, Tyler Elliott and Spencer Appleton.
