Henry Bond

Somerville A funeral service for Henry Bond, 85, was held Monday, March 24, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter and Bro. Pearl Jenkins officiating. Burial was in Somerville Historical Cemetery. Mr. Bond passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at his residence. He was born Monday, March 18, 1940, in Morgan County to Herbert Lee Bond and Maudie Bond. Mr. Bond was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters. He retired from Watson Machine Shop after 21 years and opened his own business-Bond Machine Shop. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather; and he loved his family and farming. Mr. Bond loved to hunt and fish. He was a Christian and loved to hear his brother preach. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Bond; sons, Shayne Bond (Vera), Heath Bond (Tina) and Nathan Bond; daughter, Robin Hopper (Anthony); 9 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.

Pallbearers were Shayne Bond, Heath Bond, Nathan Bond, Easton Hopper, Landon Bond, and William Bond.
