Hartselle A funeral service for Glenn Wood, 68, was held Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at No Fences Cowboy Church with Bro. Josh Sparkman and Dr. Milan Dekich officiating. Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Mr. Wood passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at his residence. He was born November 13, 1956, in Morgan County, to Odis P. Wood and Sarah Kathleen Cole Wood. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Mach III as an applications engineer. He was a member of the No Fences Cowboy Church in Falkville and had a passion for music. He served in multiple bands, praise groups and worship groups over the course of his life. He also enjoyed and had a passion for fishing. Preceding him in death were his father, Odis P. Wood; and a grandson, Braden Crider. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Vinson Wood, his son, Steve Wood (Ashley), his daughter, Sheree Crider (Luke); his mother, Kathleen Cole Wood; brothers, Lynn Wood (Amanda) and Mike Wood; three grandchildren, Carter Wood, William Wood and Lakelen Crider. Pallbearers were Carter Wood, Timothy Wood, Randy Wood, Alan Barbee, Mark Bates and Joe David Bailey.
