Somerville man dies in two-vehicle Decatur wreck

A Somerville man died following a two-vehicle wreck March 17 in Decatur, according to the Decatur Police Department.

Decatur police said the wreck occurred on Point Mallard Parkway near Refuge Headquarters Road and offi-cers on the scene determined a sedan and a truck had been in a head-on collision.

Police said a passenger in the sedan, Christopher Blake Bolton, was trans-ported to Decatur Morgan Hospital and later died from his injuries.

The driver of the sedan was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital for treat-ment, according to Decatur police, and the driver of the truck was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. Police said the wreck is still under investigation.
