Lady Bulldogs dominate in three victories

The Priceville Lady Bulldogs returned to their winning ways with three dominating victories over Danville, Madison County and Brewer this past week. The Lady Bulldogs averaged 68.3 points while allowing only 38.7 points per game in their three-game win streak.

Priceville 77, Danville 41
The Lady Bulldogs led 23-12 after the first quarter and never looked back in their 77-41 win over visiting Danville. They extended their lead to 43-21 at halftime before taking a 64-33 lead into the final quarter.

Abby Langlois finished with a double-double, 19 points and 11 rebounds, to lead Priceville. She also had five assists, three steals, and three blocks. Ashlyn John added 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists, while Carly Nelson had 13 points. Gracin Prater had eight points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while Lillyan Bloodworth added eight points.

Priceville 70, Madison County 44
Priceville broke open a close game after the first quarter with a 19-8 run in the second quarter to lead 34-20 at halftime. They led 59-32 after three quarters in the victory.

Prater led the way with 16 points and six rebounds. Langlois had 15 points, eight rebounds and three blocks, while Amberleigh Dean had 11 points. Johnson added eight points, while Nelson had seven.

Priceville 58, Brewer 31
Priceville went on the road and picked up a 58-31 victory over county rival Brewer in their only regular-season meeting. The Lady Bulldogs led 12-5 after the first quarter and 30-15 at the half in the 27-point victory.

Langlois had her second double-double of the week, 17 points and 10 rebounds, to lead Priceville. She also had three blocks. Johnson added 13 points and seven rebounds, while Bloodworth and Nelson each had eight points. Prater and Dean added six points each.

Kiln Stapler, Chloe Romine and Lilly Yancey each had seven points to lead the Lady Patriots. Bailey Hale had seven steals.
