Wallace state offers scholarships

The Wallace State Alumni Association will award four $250 scholarships for the 2006 Summer Semester.
The Alumni scholarship is open to students enrolled in any Wallace State program. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours of coursework at Wallace State and have at least a 2.5 GPA. They must be full-time students at the time of application and maintain at least half-time status to retain the scholarship. A letter of recommendation from the student’s advisor and a 500-word essay are required along with a completed application.
Scholarship recipients will be asked to volunteer in the Alumni Office once per month during the semester to assist with alumni activities.
Applications may be obtained from the Wallace State Alumni Office on the 10th floor of the James C. Bailey Center or by visiting the Alumni web site at www.wallacestate.edu/alumni.
