Peggie Sue Pirkle McRory

A graveside service for Peggie Sue Pirkle McRory, 73, of Decatur was Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at Garden of Crosses Cemetery in Madison with Pastor John McPeek officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. McRory died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Decatur Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Dec. 17, 1931, in Eva to James Franklin and Susie Pearl Wood Pirkle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McRory; one daughter, Felecia Burnett; and one great-grandson, Logan Peterson.
She is survived by two daughters, Belinda Jones of Vinemont and Sharon Ross of Franklin, Tenn.; one grandson, Jay Werdebaugh and his wife Whitney; three granddaughters, Julie Johnson and husband Jimmy, Laura Kelso and husband Brian and Emily Byrd and husband Dan; and six great-grandchildren, Misti Johnson, Bethaney and Kylie Peterson, Brook Sain, Ray Byrd and Jaelyn Werdebaugh.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
