Funeral for Edith R. Holt, 76, of Hartselle was Friday, Aug. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Hunter and Alan Host officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Holt died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born March 14, 1927, in Morgan County to Hassie Lee Holt and Rena Beatrice Johnson Holt. She was the widow of Herman Rufus Holt.
She is survived by two sons, Herman Lee Holt and Stanley William Holt, both of Hartselle; one daughter, Frances Eva Holt of Hartselle; five brothers, Harold "Buddy" Holt of Decatur, Arnold Holt of Somerville and Sterling Holt, Van Holt and Earl Holt, all of Decatur; four sisters, Louise Reeves and Brenda McCleskey, both of Hartselle, Jessica Johnson of Somerville and Evelyn Johnson; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tony Davis, Michael Moore, Chris Bledsoe, Ronnie Reeves, Tommy Holt and Bryan Holt.
