Minnie Lee Roberts

Funeral for Minnie Lee Roberts, 87, of Danville was Tuesday, July 15, at 10 a.m. at Harmony Grove Holiness Church with the Rev. Roger White, the Rev. Danny Garrison, the Rev. Larry Janns and the Rev. Judy Williams officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Roberts died Saturday, July 12, 2003, at Falkville Healthcare Center. She was born July 21, 1915, in Lawrence County to Thomas W. Bolan and Ida DePriest Bolan.
She was a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a minister, licensed by the Fellowship of Ministers for more than 40 years. She helped found and pastored at Harmony Grove Holiness Church in Danville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John C. Roberts; one son, Raymond Roberts; one granddaughter; one brother and five sisters.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Roberts, Sr. of Decatur, Mich.; one daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Rector Roberts of Richland, Mich.; one brother, Earshall Bolan of Clinton, Ill.; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons Wayne Roberts, Jr., Johnnie Harris, Mike Elliott, Justin Roberts, Talton Johns and Josh Halbrooks.
