Remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice

New Center News

The holiday season is already upon us. The next couple of months will be busy, busy, busy. I always enjoy this time of the year even though it does sometimes get hectic. I just need to slow down and enjoy each day.
A special thank you goes out to all of those who collected their political signs from our roads and highways.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Stephanie Jansen and Becky Shelton, both on Nov. 12, Ron Creel, Leah Ferguson, Fred Motes and Rusty Arnold, all on Nov. 13, Evan Livingston and Wes Livingston, both on Nov. 14 and Linda Hanners, Cindy Yeager, Amanda Muse and Ray Long, all on Nov. 17.
Happy birthday wishes to my dad, Fred Motes, who will celebrate his birthday on Sat, Nov. 13. I love you a lot and have a great day. –Von.
Happy wedding anniversary wishes go out to my uncle and aunt, James and Cindy Lemmond on Nov. 11, John and Kathy Hines on Nov. 13 and Jose and Susan Moral on Nov. 13.
Happy 60th wedding anniversary to my uncle and aunt, Lewis and Eldora Maples who will celebrate their special day on Wed., Nov. 17. They were married in Iuka, Miss.
On Thursday, Nov. 11, we will observe Veterans Day. On this day we remember those who sacrificed their lives for their wonderful country. On this day we also honor those who are still fighting to defend this wonderful country, many of whom are far away from home and their families. May we always be mindful of our freedom and the sacrifices that have been made to defend it.
