Tabernacle replicas coming to Hartselle
The Uncommon Ministry of Dr. David Hamilton of Mobile, which includes an exhibit of museum quality replicas of the Holy Tabernacle and its furnishings, will be highlighted as a part of worship services at The Pentecostals of Hartselle on Sept. 19-22.
“The Pentecostals of Hartselle is fortunate to be able to host Dr. Hamilton and his replicas of the Tabernacle,” Pastor Shane Britt said. “We look forward to seeing the wonders he has created and hear him talk about the biblical relevance of each item in the exhibit.”
Displayed on the church stage for public viewing will be a replica of the Ark of the Covenant along with a wax figure of a high priest wearing a ceremonial breastplate, models of the Table of Shewbread. The Altar of Incense and a giant Golden Candlestick menorah.
Hamilton, a 51-year old former designer and builder of houses, has been building and displaying biblical furniture for 17 years, guided by biblical descriptions of what was in the ancient Temple of Solomon.
He founded Mishkan Ministries after being divinely called to re-create the Tabernacle and its furnishings as never before seen since Biblical times; to teach with clarity, the devine revelation of each piece, With his world renowned collection serving as visuals for teaching, Hamilton has been invited to lecture in churches, conferences, camp meetings and conventions across America. His exhibit has been featured on Trinity Broadcasting Network. The exhibit and its creator will be the focal point of services at 1004 Eubanks Street Sunday through Wednesday, Sept. 19-22. Services will be at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday and 7 p.m. on weekdays. The public is invited.
