Ronnie Shiver

Funeral for Ronnie Shiver, 51, of Hartselle was Sat., July 17, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Odom officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Shiver died Tue., July 13, 2010, at West Point Community Living Center. He was born Dec. 17, 1958, in Leesburg, Fla. He was a graduate of Sparkman High School in Huntsville and spent his adult life in Dothan where he worked alongside his father at Jack’s Service Center until returning to north Alabama four years ago. He had a passion for Alabama football and Nascar.
He is survived by a son, Brandon Shiver of Dothan; a daughter, Kristy Stevens and husband Scott of Dothan; his mother, Sue Ann Slaten and husband Curtis of Hartselle; his father, Jack Shiver and wife Ann of Webb; two brothers, Paul Shiver of Dothan and Jack Shiver and wife Terry of Palm Coast, Fla.; two sisters, Melissa Shiver of Somerville and Sheri Jenkins and husband Jay of Decatur; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Cheri Wilson, Nicole Swafford and Aunt Faye.
The family would like to express special thanks to the doctors and staff at Westpoint Community Living Center in West Point, Miss. for all the love and care during his illness.
