Funeral for Michael Joe "Mike" Aaron, 43, of Florence was Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at Elkins Funeral Home Chapel in Florence with Bro. Greg Woodall officiating.
Burial was in Curry Cemetery in Jasper.
Mr. Aaron died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, in Florence. He was a 1977 graduate of Rogers High School and a 1979 graduate of Shoals Community College with a degree in cosmetology. He was owner of The Mane Place. He attended the First Assembly of God. His hobbies and interest included painting, photography, decorating, cooking and gardening. He was the grandson of the late Bart L. Aaron and Elda Aaron.
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Joyce Aaron of Florence; his grandfather, Olen Legg and his wife Thelma; his grandmother, Mae Richardson; two sisters, Sandy Aaron of Florence and Janie Aaron Grammer of Hartselle; and three nieces.
Pallbearers were Morris Grammer, Doug Legg, Carl Waters, Mark McBride, Doug Aaron and Tim Aaron.
Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Legg and David Darnell.
Memorials may be made to a local chapter of the American Heart Associations or the First Assembly of God building fund.
