A graveside service for Susan G. Taylor, 69, of Decatur was Mon., Oct. 1, at 1 p.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, in Cullman County, with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Taylor died Fri., Sept., 28, 2012, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

She was born Oct. 24, 1942, in Michigan to George and Joan Heath who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sons, James A. Taylor of Birmingham and Jeffrey Owen Taylor of Cullman; a daughter, Jennifer McDonald of Decatur; five grandchildren; and two great–grandchildren.
