Kisbey-Green, Whatley to wed next month

Mr. and Mrs. Kevin F. Kisbey-Green of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Kisbey-Green, to Patrick Zachary Whatley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd Whatley of Hartselle.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eithne Kisbey-Green and the late Mr.Victor Kisbey-Green, and Mrs. Shirley DeKlerk and the late Mr. Ronald DeKlerk of South Africa.

Miss Kisbey-Green is a graduate of St. Bernard Preparatory School. She is also a graduate of Belmont Abbey College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. She is employed as a second grade teacher at St. Ann Catholic School in Decatur.

Whatley and Kisbey-Green

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Whatley of Falkville and Mr. and Mrs. James E. Staudt of Hartselle.

Mr. Whatley is a graduate of Hartselle High School and also a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor of business administration. He is employed at Temple, Inc., in Decatur.

The couple will be united in the Sacrament of Matrimony on Sat., Aug. 25, 2012, at Saint Bernard Abbey Church in Cullman.
