A funeral service for Gary Jenkins, 64, was held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith Letson officiating. Burial was in Panama Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Vinemont, Alabama. Mr. Jenkins passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at UAB Hospital. He was born November 14, 1960, in Morgan County, to Harold Jenkins and Grace Belle Long Jenkins. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Copeland Corporation for 32 years and then also worked for Polaris for 6 years. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Floyd Ray Jenkins. Survivors include his wife, Sonya Ball Jenkins; daughters, Vanna, Ashley, and Miranda McSpadden (Will); Grandchildren, Zoe, Zander, Zaylee, Camren and Macy; sister, Carylon Smith (Edward); and three nieces. Pallbearers were Camren, Zander, Will, Stephen, Blake and Danny.
