Falkville Elementary partners with Texas Roadhouse for fundraiser
Falkville Elementary School is partnering with Texas Roadhouse to offer fresh-baked rolls, honey-cinnamon butter and gift cards, with a portion of sales benefiting the school. Rolls are $8 per dozen, and honey-cinnamon butter is $2. Gift cards are available in $15, $25 and $50 amounts. Orders must be submitted by April 11 and will be available for pickup on April 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse in Decatur.
Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of all gift card sales and 50% of bread and butter sales to the school to help purchase new classroom furniture. In addition, on April 19, 10% of dine-in meal sales will be donated to Falkville Elementary.
National Day of Prayer
The Town of Falkville will observe the National Day of Prayer at 10 a.m. in front of city hall May 1. The director for the program will be Stephen Cannon from Falkville First Baptist Church.
Danville names cheerleaders
Congratulations to the Danville Hawks 2025-26 cheerleaders. The cheerleaders are Paisley Finch, Danica Mathenia, Charley Penney, Brooklyn Glenn, Novalee Burch, Chevy Maxwell, McKenzie Farwell, Jodie Murphree, and Zoey Wilburn. The high school cheerleaders are Abby Flowers, Alexis Terry, Amiya Farris, Aubrey Posey, Brittney Nauman, Kinlee Mitchell, Maggie Smith, Natalee Jordan, Raygen Cheatham, Tinsley Wallace and Zariah Wiggins.
Danville Middle School would like to congratulate students Isaac Hill and Avery Smith for earning a spot on the 2025 Morgan County Junior High All-County Baseball Team.
