His hour
Between the moment Jesus declared that “His hour” had begun-when He turned water into wine-and His triumphant entry into Jerusalem in John 12, countless events took place. “His hour” signified that He was on the path to the cross, and in that time, He accomplished more than could ever be fully recorded. Yet, Scripture gives us glimpses of His journey. After turning water into wine, Jesus cleansed the temple and taught a Samaritan woman about true worship. He healed a nobleman’s son and a man at the pool. He fed 5,000, walked on water, and extend ed grace to an adulterous woman. He restored sight to a blind man and raised Laza rus from the dead-all while knowing the cross awaited Him. Jesus made every moment count, serving, teaching, and healing, even as He moved toward His ultimate sacrifice. Shouldn’t we follow His example? While He faced the cross, we look forward to an eternity with Him. So what’s stopping you from living out the question, “What would Jesus do?”
