Hartselle Farmers Market temporarily closed for site improvements
Shoppers looking to visit the Hartselle Farmers Market will have to wait a little longer, as the market remains closed through the end of April for site improvements.
Located at 208 Sparkman St., the market is currently undergoing upgrades, including newly paved parking lots and the installation of sidewalks along the front of the facility. The goal is to create a more accessible and welcoming space for the community, according to city officials.
“These improvements will make your trips to the market smoother- literally-and help create a more accessible, welcoming space for our community,” Mayor Randy Garrison shared on his Facebook page.
Thomas Phillips of Hartselle Parks and Recreation estimates the market will reopen by April 30, with all enhancements completed.
City officials encourage residents to stay tuned for updates as the project progresses.
