Feeding Families of Alabama seeking donations
Feeding Families of Alabama is in urgent need of donations to help stock their shelves. Every contribution, no matter how small, plays a crucial role in providing food assistance to those in need. Some of the most needed food items include soups (especially high-protein varieties), dried beans such as pintos and navy beans, instant potato pouches of any brand or flavor, large jugs of juice, and canned vegetables like carrots, yams, sauerkraut, spinach, greens, and corn. Canned fruits of any kind and pickles are also appreciated, as they add variety and are a rare treat in food bags.
In addition to food, the orga-nization is requesting essential household and hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwashing liquid. Donations can be dropped off at their office door in the designated tubs anytime before 5:00 p.m. Feeding Families of Alabama is located at the Old Mt. Tabor Church building at 373 Mt. Tabor Road, Hartselle, Alabama, 35640. The organization deeply appreciates the generosity of the community in helping to feed those in need.
