Danville A graveside funeral service and interment for Geraldine Stephenson Legg, 87, was held Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Lebanon Cemetery at Speake, with Bro. Francis Proctor officiating. Mrs. Legg died on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born September 17, 1937, in Lawrence County, to Herman Sylvanius Stephenson and Annie M. Holt Stephenson. She was a homemaker for her family; was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother; and loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Legg, and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Rhodes; sons, Arnold Legg (Judy) and Vernon Legg (Tammy); sister, Shirley Garlen (William); six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
