Cullman A funeral service for Kathy Fields, 67, was held Monday, March 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brian Bridges officiating. Burial was in Center Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Fields passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at her residence. She was born January 20, 1958, in Texas, to Herbert Hoyt Makemson and Betty Marie Bentley Makemson, who preceded her in death. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Topre’, as a Press Operator for 20 years. She loved watching her grandchildren play ball; and loved and enjoyed feeding and watching birds. She loved her family dearly. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Fields, her son, Herbert Knott (Stephani); her stepson, Bradley Fields; her daughters, Carrie Owens (Josh), Amy Knott and Amber Nix; her stepdaughter, Hannah Landis (Cody); and her grandchildren, Brooklyn Owens, Bryant Owens, Brilyan Knott, Brayden Knott, Lexi Nix, Paislee Fields, Eli Landis, Slade Landis, and Triston Knott. Pallbearers weree Josh Owens, Bryant Owens, Bradley Fields, Kris Owens, Larry Whisenant, and Stephen Knott.
