Cullman A funeral service for Sandra Ann Lee, 89, was held Friday, February 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Stripling officiating. Burial was in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Crane Hill, Ala. Mrs. Lee passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born November 24, 1935, in Evansville, Indiana, to David Monroe Peters and Julie Irvin Peters. She was a schoolteacher, a career she loved; she taught in Kentucky and Alabama. She taught Sunday school for over 30 years and was like a pastor to her class. She was a wonderful Christian lady and a prayer warrior. She loved sharing the gospel and ministering to others. Mrs. Lee supported many missionary efforts all over the world. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Since the age of 4, she was a huge Kentucky fan and was also a University of Louisville fan. She loved basketball and football. Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Will Franklin Lee. Survivors include sons, David Franklin Lee (Karen) and Timothy Will Lee; a daughter, Tersa Ann Collins (Joey); grandchildren, Brighton Collins (Allison), Baxley Collins, Katie Sharp, Bristol Collins, Hope Collins, Jonathan David Lee (Lin), and Timothy Paul Lee, MD; great grandchildren, Klover Parker, Renee Collins and Lucas Lee. Pallbearers were Brighton Collins, Bristol Collins, Baxley Collins, Jonathan Lee, David Lee and Joey Collins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Samaritan’s Purse, 801 Bamboo Road, Boone, North Carolina 28607.
