Rosemary Ballas

Falkville Rosemary Ballas passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Falkville Heath Care Center. She was born October 9, 1948, in Florida, to Willie Smith and Florence Falshing Smith. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a waitress and cook for Waffle House. She enjoyed playing bingo, solitaire, and working puzzles, and was a huge fan of sci-fi and Harrison Ford movies, as he was her favorite actor. She loved to read Stephen King novels. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her infant son, Scott Williams. Survivors include sons, James Darrell Williams (Dawn) and Jon Derrick Williams (Regina); daughters, Dawn Michelle Larosa and Deeanna Marie South (Jonathan); a brother, Edward Smith; a sister, Kathy Babson; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time.
