Hartselle Historical Society launches 2025 Lunch and Learn series

The Hartselle Historical Society recently announced the kick-off of its 2025 Lunch and Learn series, set to begin March 3, at noon. The event will take place at the Fellowship Hall of East Highland Baptist Church, located at 1030 Main Street E., in Hartselle.

David Burleson will lead off the series with an intriguing presentation titled “Two Historical Fires That Changed the Face of Downtown Hartselle.” Burleson, a local histo-rian, will delve into the impact of these pivotal events, offering insights into how they reshaped the downtown area and influenced the development of the city. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch and enjoy a relaxed and informative atmosphere as they explore the rich history of the community.
