Dwight ‘Bear’ Kinney
A funeral service for Dwight “Bear” Kinney, 65, was held Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Journey Church with Bro. Joey Coots and Bro. Tim Kinney officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Mr. Kinney died on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1959, in Morgan County, to Hyland G. Kinney and Christine Hudgins Kinney. He was employed by Turner Universal Construction as a form carpenter prior to his passing. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Deborah Price. Survivors include his wife, Teresa S. Kinney; daughters, Aleisha Terrell (Jared Hudson), Cierra Allen (Chris) and Nicole Jones (T.J.); mother-in-law, Venia Lindsey; brothers, Basil Kinney, Glenn Kinney and Louie Kinney; nine grandchildren, Brooklyn, Laney, Stockton, Scarlett, Sutton, Laikleigh, Kaiden, Ian and Mila; and one great grandchild, Emily. Pallbearers were family and friends.
