Hartselle A funeral service for Bruce Smith, 57, was held Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating. Mr. Smith passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at UAB Hospital. He was born December 22, 1967, in Morgan County, to Earl “Sonny” Smith and Mary Ruth Angle Smith. Prior to his passing, Bruce was a painter and construction worker. He was a wonderful husband, son and brother. Preceding him in death were his parents, Earl Smith, Jr. and Mary Rugh Angle Smith; his brother, Barry Lee Smith; and sister, Becky Sue Smith. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wonderful wife, Nicole C. Smith; his great nieces Jonna Wooten and Alana Evans; and great great nephew, Corbin.
