College Street Players to take audiences to Wonderland
The College Street Players are gearing up for a captivating theatrical adventure this weekend as they bring Alice in Wonderland to the Hartselle High School Auditorium, inviting the community to travel with Alice through a fantastical world. The production will begin Thursday night and run through Saturday offering both evening and matinee performances on Feb. 22.
The show will be staged Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are priced at $12 for general admission, with children three and under admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased online at collegestreetplayers.org or at the door on the day of the show.
The production features an all-star cast, with Stella Sartin taking the lead as Alice. The whimsical and eccentric characters are brought to life by a talented ensemble, including Darcy Russell, Sarabeth Weeks, and Tinsley Wallace as the mischievous Cheshire Cats, McKellen Brown as the White Rabbit and Asher Roden and Samuel Rodgers playing the dynamic Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee. The Queen of Hearts, who is notorious for her fiery temper, is played by Celia Norton, with Carter Moore as the King of Hearts.
Other notable cast members include Kadence Truss, Penelope Rodgers, Madiland Brown, Adele Blaylock, Margaret Rodgers, David Walser, Savanah Clemons, Lottie Smith and Julie Anne Speegle.
The show is directed by Marcia Sartin and Dynette Weeks. Melissa Brown is the music director.
