Wilma Thoman

Falkville Funeral service for Wilma Thoman, 86, was held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Ms. Thoman passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at her residence. She was born March 27, 1938, in Cullman County, to Herman Smith and Ollie May Smith McDonald. She was a farm worker for Charlie Prince Farms prior to her retirement. A devout Christian, she had a strong belief in Jesus. Wilma was a loving mother and grandmother who was known for her wonderful cooking. Preceding her in death were her parents; a son, Danny Garrett; daughters, Jean Hudson and Freda Seymore; and brothers, Billy Smith and Sonny Smith. Survivors include her sons, Robert Wayne Garrett and Tommy Garrett; daughters, Mary Tidwell, Wilma Dotson, and Diane Lacy; sisters, Hellen Roberts and Joyce Beasley; 30 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-greatgrandchildren.
