Hartselle seniors Noah Lee and Justin Metz will continue their football careers after signing letters of intent at a signing ceremony this past Wednesday at Hartselle High School.
Lee signed with Kentucky Wesleyan, while Metz signed with Rhodes College.
Lee was a two-year starter at quarterback for the Tigers. He helped lead Hartselle to back-to-back playoff appearances including going to the second round this season. Metz started at linebacker for Hartselle. He helped lead a defense that gave up less than 12 points per game this season.
“Both of these players were tremendous leaders for our football team,” coach Bert Newton said. “Each one led on and off the football field. They will continue to be great leaders at the next level. We will most definitely miss them next season.”
