Lady Bulldogs headed back to regionals

The Priceville Lady Bulldogs punched their ticket to the 5A northwest regional with a 70-50 win over visiting Russellville this past Friday.

Freshman Josi Langlois finished with a career-high 28 points and six rebounds to lead Priceville (23-9). Leah Childress added 11 points and 10 assists. The Lady Bulldogs are no stranger to playing at Wallace, but this will be their first time in 5A. They will meet Scottsboro in the regional semifinals at noon on Thursday.

Earlier in the week, Priceville won the 5A Area 16 tournament with a 63-33 victory over Ardmore.

Childress led the Lady Bulldogs with 22 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals, while Lillyan Bloodworth had 11 points and five rebounds. Josie Childress added nine.
